A split-level pub above the horseshoe bend of the Irwell, next to Salford University, with a terrace over the water that fills up the moment it stops raining. Four handpumps of changing cask, no regulars.

Marston's own it, which is why it's marked borderline, but the beer is kept well and the view is the view. Dogs welcome.
