The Stables Tavern

A new-build pub on the old Rovers Return set at St John's, opened in June 2025. Local beers on the taps, proper Guinness, hand-crimped pies and a parlour out the back for whisky and cocktails.

It's pitched as a proper pint pub rather than a beer bar, and the tap list is shorter than most on this site. Worth it for the terrace on a summer evening.
