The Gas Lamp

A basement bar in a glazed-brick Victorian mission building on Bridge Street, right on the line between Manchester and Salford. Four handpumps, two of them usually Pomona Island (the owners' brewery), the rest from small independents, and a permanent Little Pomona cider.

Card only, dogs welcome, and the people who later opened North Westward Ho. Lots of steps down, so not one for anyone who needs level access.
