Bunbury's

A specialist beer shop and micro bar in Halliwell, Bolton, converted from a shop in 2015 by two former teachers. Three handpumps serve local cask, including Bolton brewers like Rivington and Northern Monkey, with a rotating craft keg line and real cider alongside. The fridges hold around 100 British bottles and cans plus a big German and Belgian range, and a few rare ones.

Drink in or take bottles home. Dogs and families are welcome, there are darts and board games, and a Wednesday quiz. It was Bolton CAMRA Pub of the Year in 2017. The entrance has a deep step and there is no accessible toilet.
