Cheshire Tap

A long, thin, softly lit bar at the back of Kings Court in Altrincham, with a bare brick wall, a steel bar top and four cask handpumps (usually three on). Weetwood Cheshire Cat and Wainwright Gold are the regulars, with a changing modern IPA beside them and keg ales on request. Cocktails are a house speciality too.

Live music at weekends, sport on the TV, and a garden out the back in Kings Court. Dogs are welcome in the daytime and children until 8pm. Open every day: from 4pm Monday, 3pm Tuesday, and from noon Wednesday onwards.
