One for the Road

A cask bar inside Bolton Market's Lifestyle Hall, open since the market was redeveloped in 2014 (it used to be Great Ale at the Market). Three handpumps of changing beers from across the north-west and beyond, always one dark, with Deeply Vale Maverick as the house beer, plus cider.

It is a shared-bench sort of place with food stalls around you, so you only get it on market days: Tuesday and Thursday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm. Level access throughout, and the market toilets are step-free.
