The Crown

Up to fourteen handpumps on the bar, with Joseph Holt's bitter and mild alongside guests from local micros, in a red-brick 1886 local that has been in the Good Beer Guide for over 25 years. Lever Park and the way up to Rivington are across the road, which makes it a sensible last stop after a walk.

Food is served at lunch and in the evening, there is a beer garden, a free pool table and a vault where dogs are welcome. Pub quiz on Wednesdays, live music at weekends and Sky and TNT sport on the screens. Opposite Lever Park, five minutes from Rivington Pike.
