Bar Fringe

Bars

A Belgian-style bar on the Northern Quarter fringe that has been pouring continental beer since 1996. Five cask ales sit alongside Trappist ales, lambics and crisp German and Belgian lagers, in a long, narrow room of warm wood, old signs and a jukebox. There is a sheltered, partly covered garden at the back for when it rains, which is useful in Manchester.

About Bar Fringe

A Belgian-style bar on the Northern Quarter fringe that has been pouring continental beer since 1996. Five cask ales sit alongside Trappist ales, lambics and crisp German and Belgian lagers, in a long, narrow room of warm wood, old signs and a jukebox. There is a sheltered, partly covered garden at the back for when it rains, which is useful in Manchester.

It is walk-in only, with no booking and no dress code. Dogs are welcome inside and in the garden, and the kitchen stops at crisps, nuts and pork scratchings. Open from 1pm every day, and on Swan Street, a short walk from Shudehill.
